One Big Mission: Lourdes Hospital Brings One Big Mission to Mindoro

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital together with the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit, led a successful medical-surgical mission from April 3-5, 2025 at San Sebastian District Hospital in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro as part of its One Big Mission, the hospital's corporate social responsibility program.

The surgical mission was in collaboration with the Occidental Mindoro's provincial health office and the University of Santo Tomas Golden Cross and Saber Alumni Association Inc. Hundreds of patients from the community were given minor and major surgeries such as tumor and cyst removals, and circumcisions by Lourdes Hospital's physicians. Free consultations were also done for the community.

Through this medical and surgical mission, Lourdes Hospital continues to preserve its legacy of compassion and holistic healing, bringing hope and healthcare to underserved communities. By providing much-needed care to the residents of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, Lourdes Hospital reaffirms that Alagang Lourdes knows no boundaries, regardless of distance.
